Watchmen

The reviewer the Watchmen movie strongly disliked the film. He thought the movie was very lengthy and dragged on for far too long. He thought there were far too many characters, which made it impossible to follow one main story line.  He felt that the films attempt at political satire was poor and left a lot to be desired.  To quote his opinion of doctor Manhattan, “ Last and hugest is Dr. Manhattan (Billy Crudup), who is buff, buck naked, and blue, like a porn star left overnight in a meat locker.”

Syriana

The movie Sryiana Is a fantastically complex story of the oil market that is meant to shown the corruption of the people within the business.  The movie at first glance seems to take sides but once you examine it more closely, you see that the movie makes every character put to be corrupt.  The movie has many well known actors which helps us keep track of who’s who. This can be difficult though because of its complex plot. The film is unique and unlike most movies, it is a fierce and powerful film.

Harry potter review/preview thing

The writer discussed the next harry potter film, Harry potter and the chamber of secrets. The first movie was somewhat slow paced, and boring. The next movie was supposed to be more action packed and quickly paced. The film makers were afraid of getting a pg 13 rating because their target audience is younger people. They managed to keep the movie pg.  for the next movie, they plan on topping the first movie in every way.
